American Idol Loser Song

Ah, the Sanjaya debacle debate. I think he adds entertainment value to the dreariest American Idol season ever. There are some who have actually become emotional (and not in a good way) because this teeny-bopper bait remains a contestant. I say, let’s keep things in perspective.

Urp! Is the world really once again safe for humanity? Or is this only the beginning?

One of these days I’m going to have to watch that show just so I know what everybody is talking about.

I remember Scott Savol well from the years when the hellish Idol was actually on display at the hacienda so the whole Sanjaya thing sounds like nothing more than dejà vu all over again to me. The VFTW vote will fail sooner or later and there’ll be a couple of lukewarm contestants left that will duke it out for the next crown and both of them will probably fade into obscurity in a year or two. Life will go on and next season’s Idol will throw in Exile Island or some similar contrivance to try and keep things interesting which will be eclipsed by Paula Abdul’s continuing escapades and another boy that comes forward claiming that Clay Aiken propositioned him.

I was disappointed when I found out that the losers on “Survivor” were to be voted off the island rather than being killed by the soon-to-be winners.
    Where’s the survival?
