Don’t Download this Song

Retired Geezer once did the lighting for Weird Al Yankovic, which comes as no surprise. R.G. has done the lighting for everyone who was ever anyone. Now he has a post about Weird Al, whose new album has shot into the top 10. One of my brothers was a big fan of Weird Al in the 80’s. I don’t know how many times I heard “Eat it!” It was about…too many times. Yes, that sounds like an accurate estimate.

Anyway, Weird Al has a song entitled “Don’t Download this Song”, which he invites you to download here . Listen as he begs you not to download this song because

…You start out stealin’ songs
Then you’re robbin’ liquor stores
And selling crack
And running over school kids with your car

And, yes, I now know that it’s old. But it’s new to me.
