I double dare you

Are you an adventurous soul with an undescriminating palate and a strong stomach? Are you a dumbass who will do any stupid thing someone dares you to do?  Is there a difference?

If you meet either, or both, of the above criteria, you could win a free t-shirt and a “flash pass” entitling you and three friends (assuming you have them) to move directly to the front of any line during Six Flags Great America’s annual Halloween event.

All you have to do is swallow a live, 3-inch long, slimy, disgusting Madagascar hissing cockroach.  Just remind yourself that in some parts of the world they are considered delicacies.

Of course, in some parts of the world tarantulas, grubs, goat testicles, putrified shark meat, blood pancakes, and pizza with anchovies are considered delicacies.  But you aren’t required to eat any of those, thank goodness.

Urrk. This is just vile. I despise roaches. ALL roaches – nothing gives me the full-body wave of revulsive disgust like roaches. I used to live in Florida where they have FLYING roaches. They try to dress them up by using a euphamism like “palmetto bugs”. Nkkk!

I take it you wil be waiting in line.
    Me, too.
I once lived in Hawaii. They have roaches that can carry off dogs and small children. I could hear the helicopter-like whop whop sound of their wings as they went by. Well, that might have been my imagination…
