Underwater researchers have found a “lost world”off the coast of Indonesia.

“It was extraordinary,” said Roger McManus of Conservation International, which conducted the expeditions along with the Indonesian government. “These expeditions uncovered what we believe are almost 60 new species to science.”

The two expeditions led to the discover of 8 new shrimp species , 20 new corals, 24 new fish, and two species of small epaulette sharks which  “walk” on their fins.
