A Golfer’s Wildest Dream Comes True for 8 Year Old Boy

Congratulations to Harrison Vonderau, of Cleveland, Ohio, who  (with his father) won the Pee Wee Division of the Cleveland Metroparks Father/Son Tournament on Saturday.

 1 round, 2 holes-in-one for 8-year-old

“It was unbelievable,” said Jeff Staker, the pro at the Washington Golf Learning Center in Newburgh Heights.

Not only did Harrison and his father win the tournament, they are the first golfers in their division to break par since it began in 1991. Great job, Harrison!

I want to be sure that two of my brothers, who have been golfing since they were in their teens, and who have never experienced  a hole-in-one, are aware of young Mr. Vonderau’s accomplishment.  Just a hint, guys, he used a pitching wedge.

Entry filed under: news, sports.
