Michael Meyn of Misunderestimated Germans has completed the citizenship process and taken his oath of allegience.  Stop by and say congratulations!

I’m proud to be an American

P.S.  He has a great video. 🙂

I have a friend who grew up in Nuremberg who became a citizen four years ago and invited me to the event.

It was quite moving… there were about 65 people who became citizens that day.

Gave me a better appreciation for what we have and who we are.

That sounds like a nice experience, Dave in Texas. A co-worker from Yugoslavia became a citizen a few years ago, and he was so excited. We threw a big party for him at work. He gave a speech at the party, and it was quite touching.
