Reader's Digest magazine sent journalists to cities in 35 countries. Their mission, which they chose to accept, was to determine which city was the most polite.
Americans might find themselves justifiably surprised by this result. This survey may cause us to wonder, "Just how rude is the rest of the world, anyway?" But New Yorkers can clarify the situation for us.
