Travel Agent for Dave in Texas

the Stupid Beagle  This afternoon a pleasant southern gentleman visited my establishment, accompanied by a cute, innocent-looking beagle.  He requested an unusual itinerary, though a less tactful person might use the word "bizarre."  I believe I was able to meet his vacation needs even though I was under considerable pressure.  The plans had to be completed before all the furniture in my office was reduced to sawdust and minuscule shreds of upholstery.

Monday:  National Firearms Museum, Fairfax, VA

Tuesday: Springfield Armory National Historic Site, Massachusetts

Wednesday: Cody Firearms Museum, Cody, WY

Thursday: Gene Autry Museum, Los Angeles, CA

Friday:  The Alamo, San Antonio, TX

Cute whiskers, and such dreamy eyes.

The guy was nice, too.

Upon entering the establishment, the proprietor asked the guest, “Where did you get that thing!” To which the beagle replied, “Texas. Theres a million of ’em there.”

I’ve actually visited the Roy Rogers museum in Victorville, California. I think they moved it to Branson, MO. It was pretty cool. Roy saved EVERYTHING; here’s a peanut butter sammich that Dusty didn’t finish on his 3rd birthday.
I have a picture of me standing in front of the 50 foot Trigger statue, giving him a Roto-Recta-Rootalator treatment.

Can you post it on your site? I would truly, deeply enjoy seeing that.
