Man Bakes Wedding Gown

Global News Alert: UZHHOROD, Ukraine
Valentyn Shtefano is “a rising star in the field of baking as visual art”. He is also a businessman who knows the value of publicity.
Luckily, for him, he has a cooperative fiancee who did not object when herĀ her future husband decided to bake her wedding gown. Not many women would be that cooperative, for many first-time brides have visions of gliding down the aisle resplendent in a beautiful white gown. Few women envision themselves striding down the aisle in a crunchy concoction of flour, eggs, sugar and caramel. Most women would strenuously object to wearing a wedding dress made of 1,500 cream-puffs, or wearing a crown made of caramelized sugar. But his bride met the challenge, though not without some qualms.
“At first, it was even a little embarrassing,” Viktoriya Shtefano said of the dress she wore to the couple’s reception in August at Uzhhorod’s 1,200-year-old castle. “Cameras, interviews, but after a couple of hours, I didn’t even want to take it off.”
That last sentence does not bode well for the honeymoon.
