There’s No Place Like Home

But the food is better in prison.
That would be the opinion of one Detlef Federsohn, who was caught attempting to sneak back into Josefstadt prison in Vienna, Austria. After serving his two year debt to society, the poor man was released into a cruel world. This cruel world did not feed him all of his meals, do his laundry, or wish him to spend his entire day watching television. Also, the cruel world (a.k.a. his mother) did not cook as well as the prison chefs.
So, under the cover of darkness, he returned to the prison and climbed up onto the roof in an attempt to escape back into a life of undemanding leisure. His plan was to then “blend in with the other inmates” and therefore pass unnoticed by any guards or record-keeping systems. Obviously he is not the sharpest tack in the box.
There is no word on the punishment for an attempted jail break-in of this variety. Perhaps they should sentence him to two years of his mother’s cooking.

He might be better served by a mental institution.
